Choose the people in your life wisely...

Have you ever thought about how much the people around you influence you? Their beliefs, fears, and energies shape their decisions and can affect your inner world and goals as well – often more than we realize.

Why the Right People Are Crucial

Especially when starting a new project, you need a lot of strength and courage to truly get going. You might be battling inner doubts such as:

  • "What if it doesn't work out?"

"What if people laugh at me?"

    "What if everything goes wrong?"

In such moments, it already takes a lot of effort to challenge your own limiting beliefs. But if there are also people in your environment who amplify your fears or influence you negatively, it becomes even harder to see your project through.

Surround Yourself with Motivating and Supportive People

I encourage you to carefully choose whom you share your goals and projects with. This doesn’t mean you have to "ghost" or cut ties with everyone who may not be constructive. However, when it comes to discussing your ideas and plans, seek out people who:

  • Motivate you.

  • Provide honest and constructive feedback.

  • Lift you up during tough moments.

These are the people who can make all the difference. They give you the energy and support you need to keep going – even when things get challenging..

New Friendships Can Enrich Your Life

Many people believe it’s difficult to form new friendships as an adult. But that’s not true! I’ve personally experienced how enriching new connections can be, especially when they’re built around shared goals.

When I moved to Tenerife, I was fortunate enough to let new people into my life. For instance, while preparing for a Spanish diploma at a language school, I found a wonderful friend. We motivated and supported each other and learned from one another. With her companionship, I was able to reach my goal faster and more easily.

This applies to other areas of life as well:

  • Want to get fitter? Join a fitness group or find a workout partner.

  • Working on a creative project? Join a community with similar interests.

  • Learning something new? Take advantage of courses, workshops, or online forums to meet like-minded people.

Your Environment, Your Choice

The great thing is: you can actively shape your surroundings. You can consciously decide who you spend your time with and what kind of energy you want in your life. Often, this not only leads to support for your goals but also to valuable friendships that enrich your life in the long run.

So, choose the people in your life wisely – and allow yourself to be carried by positive energy and meaningful connections. You’ll be surprised at how much easier and more successful your journey becomes.

With love,
Claudia 🥰
